Hotel Sant'Elia - Messina

Where to start. The room reeked like cigarettes, good! We booked a family room but only received three pillows and the beds were ridiculously small. I expected a complimentary upgrade as a token of goodwill, but instead was offered nothing! It's like I was just another guest. I just couldn't give a good review, really!

i really enjoyed the breakfast, specially tea, bread, cereals, fresh fruit, and cheese. i found the hotel's location favourable and excellent, very close to a very good restaurant, the town centre, and city center, port and train station.

Location near to a very GOOD restaurant and the pier. Public parking nearby provided.

Access to local dining experiences was enjoyable.

The room I stayed in was basic and in poor repair, with shelves hanging off the wall and broken wardrobe hinges. I found the beds very uncomfortable, made for a restless night. The overall lack of upkeep was disappointing and did not meet my expectations for a comfortable stay.

Had a lovely stay. the breakfast was excellent with an array of options! The room was spacious and comfortable, but there was some noise from the outside.

Just stayed one night after a long train ride. The reception area was nice, and the room was a good size and clean, with good breakfast options. The location is a quick five-minute walk from the train station.

The room was clean, but the wardrobe door wouldn't close properly.

The hotel staff was helpful in accommodating our needs, including storing our picnic items in the kitchen fridge when our room fridge was not functional.

The door lock seemed flimsy and gave me some concerns about security .

Comfort and Convenience in Messina!

Unexpectedly delighted by the spacious room and attentive staff! The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. Try out the excellent restaurant next door. I enjoyed their pasta dishes . Pro tip, bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise at night.

We had a fantastic group vacation! Close to the train station, and we walked to the Duomo and enjoyed some amazing pizza nearby. The staff were sooo friendly, and the breakfast was delicious, giving us a great start to our days before exploring the local sights.

Didn't like anything, except breakfast variety.

Strongly recommend for a fleeting moment

Spacious room, comfortable shower, with great free parking available right outside and fast Wi-Fi for easy planning of my adventures in the area.

There was nothing I didn't like.

the hotel was an excellent home base for enjoying a secure area. the location of the property was excellent - not too far away from a grand 16th-century fountain. 3. Really close to the harbour and city center, port, and train station. 4. the central station is in a very accessible part of the city.

The staff were superbly friendly. the breakfast was rich with continental options. - the location was great and amazing, next door to an astronomical clock.

The staff were incredibly nice. the breakfast was good. - the atmosphere created was quiet. - the double room was huge, had a mini-bar, satellite TV, and climate control. - Comfortable bed, we slept like babies.
